Open Question: hey plz help my rourter is drving me crazy!?

ok so i got a router about 6 moths ago when i was still running on vista but when i switched to windows 7 my devices would still connect and plus the internet was even faster but when i went to canada for a visit (long story short) i connected to the wifi there but the day i came back to serbia (europe) yesterday my router first of all wouldnt connect to my computer or my devices i lost the disk and i dont know what to do about it plz help!...
